Nice located close to city center and main railwaystation. Room was clean and nice and the breakfast was good.

Great location, just few meters from central station (Arlanda Express). We had a superior double room with balcony and it was just amazing. The 7th floor, terrace with beautiful street view, room with lot of space, kitchen “corner” (fridge, kettle, microwave owen, cups..), big tv and bath accessories. Breakfasts consisted of everything you could wish- cold, hot drinks, wide range of food. If we ever visit Stockholm again in the future, definitely stay in this hotel.
Negative:
Night noise coming from an unspecified bar/discotheque(?) in techno style. Maybe it was only the exception because the last night (3rd from 3) it was ok. But this was the only small “imperfection” on the perfect staying in beautiful Stockholm city.

– Complimentary umbrellas of decent quality were provided when it was raining. – A sink and good facilities for tea and coffee were provided in the superior double room (but no biscuits; could pay for nuts or chocolate from the minibar). – Bathrobes, slippers and eye masks were provided in the superior double room (bathrobes could have been softer/fluffier but were not bad). – Breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was included in the price of the superior double room; a wide range of hot and cold meats were available. For vegetarians there was scrambled eggs (the pre-made kind), soft or hard boiled eggs, bread rolls and butter, fresh sliced tomatoes, cheese slices, yoghurts, cereals and fruit. Unlimited self-serve tea and coffee was available. – Overall I was happy with my stay at Freys hotel and would recommend it to other travelers, however I would warn people about few points (see below).

– The ‘double bed’ was two separate single beds pushed together with separate single sheets (bar the top doona cover). I think it may have been possible to ask for a room with an actual double bed, but we did not do this. I do understand that separate matrasses and separate sheets is the norm in Sweden, but I feel it should be discussed with English-speaking guests on their arrival so that they understand what they are getting and can change it if they wish. – The superior double room was smallish (main room approx. 4m x 2.5m floor space) – The bathroom was small and no conditioner was provided (only a combined body and hair shampoo). – We placed a card for ordering an in-room breakfast for the next day on our door in the morning before we went out, but found it placed back in our room behind the ‘make up our room’ sign when we returned after a day of sight-seeing and it was then too late to order an in-room breakfast for the following morning. I was very unimpressed with this.

Great location for business travellers – few steps from Arlanda Express. Neat room with a touch of coziness. It was a bit cold in my room – staff provided me with a heater – problem was solved. Convenient bed.

Double room is good for one person but would be pretty small for two: little space in general, very small wardrobe. Tea/coffee making facilities would be appreciated.

I liked the friendly staff- great people work on the reception! I got top floor room- with a terrace and a view to the roofs of the buildings around – this literally made my stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has the perfect location for business travelers just infront of you when you get off Arlanda train – the train which goes to the air port. And you can also buy ticket for that train on the reception. The hotel offers free wifi connection with a good speed.
